Hours: All hours are by appointment only. I am flexible and will try to get you in when it is convenient to you. I do understand special circumstances and emergencies occur so please don't hesitate to ask.

Services: Please note that these are general descriptions and I will use these and other techniques during your session so that you get the most out of your session.

Swedish massage – Used for improved circulation and relaxation. Encourages the body systems to work together for optimal performance. Helps improve circulation, blood pressure, respiration, digestion and immune system efficiency. Relieves general muscle tension caused by stress.

Orthopedic or Medical Massage – Used in conjunction with other healthcare. It can help facilitate and enhance other forms of treatment. To enhance post op or post injury physical therapy by preventing scar tissue buildup and speeding recovery. This is generally done with Doctors approval and may include specific guidelines for treatment. Referals may come from a medical doctor,  chiropractor, physical therapist or even an athletic trainer. Some conditions for example would be chronic pain (back, neck, shoulder etc.), stress, anxiety, muscle pain and strains just to name a few.

Sports Massage – Used by athletes, whether you are a weekend warrior or a professional. A variety of techniques are utilized to enhance your training and performance. These may include deep tissue massage, fascial release, active isolated stretching, PNF stretching, joint movement as well as Swedish and medical massage. Each athlete has unique needs.

Some of the benefits of sports massage are finding and treating small strains and adhesions before  they cause an injury that would slow down or stop your training. By keeping muscle tissue, fascia and tendons pliant and flexible it makes it easier for your body to maintain and repair itself by improving blood flow. This speeds the delivery of nutrients for repair and maintenance and removal of the metabolic waste from that same process.
